Blackbird is a loyalty program platform with the goal of connecting restaurants and their customers in a more direct and meaningful way, and incentivising guests to dine out more often.
On the consumer side, diners check in at restaurants using the Blackbird app with their membership card, earning $FLY (Blackbird’s native token) and unlocking rewards. On the restaurant side, Front of House and Back of House apps allow restaurants to engage with their diners.
I was one of two founding designers who developed both the consumer and restaurant products from the ground up. Blackbird successfully raised $24 million in a Series A in October 2023.
