GrokStyle is a visual AI startup, aiming to reimagine the retail experience. GrokStyle builds state-of-the-art AI and visual search technology to help consumers easily find, explore, and decide on purchases. They partner with major retailers, and through their technology help to boost sales and improve the shopping experience for consumers across the globe.

The challenge
In addition to working on the UI and UX for their demo apps, GrokStyle also approached me to help extend their existing brand. One aspect of this work involved a refresh of their website, to better showcase their technology and capabilities to potential customers, and create a consistent, professional brand expression for the company.

Solution
As a B2B company, GrokStyle's brand marketing efforts are targeted towards large retailers who may want to integrate GrokStyle's visual search technologies into their own apps and websites. Because of this, it was important for customers to be able to imagine the technology wrapped in their own brand and visual aesthetic, and for GrokStyle’s own branding not to be too obtrusive or distract from the core technology. My approach was to keep the design clean and minimal to focus on their capabilities, and demonstrate how their apps could act a blank slate for each customer’s customization.
